Margaret's Cantina has been serving Southwestern Cuisine in Chapel Hill since 1990. Using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients, this cuisine combines the traditional recipes of early Spanish settlers, native American tribes and Mexican food from many Central and South American countries.
The menu at Margaret's Cantina offers a lot in the way of vegetarian options and most of these can be adapted to exclude dairy. Vegan dishes are clearly marked (with a VV) and there's a good selection to choose from. Tofu and tempeh are also offered as protein choices for many of the entrees.
And for dessert, you can even have vegan cake!
