The Root Café

The Root Café is a vegetarian café and community clubhouse in Lakewood, serving organic and locally grown produce.

Although they call themselves a vegetarian eatery, there are plenty of vegan-friendly and even raw vegan dishes to choose from ranging from a selection of starters, salads, sandwiches and side dishes to bean and rice dishes, pizzas and calzones. They also offer a breakfast menu, a Sunday brunch menu and a small selection of baked goods, made using whole wheat flour. All sauces and spreads are made from scratch, the fruits and vegetables used are organic and many of the dishes are also gluten-free.

The drinks menu offers a selection of hot and cold beverages.
