so•ca gets its name from several sources: 'a Peruvian word for sugarcane, a popular style of Caribbean music, and inspiration from a well known geographical divider, the Tropic of Cancer.' so•ca's food is inspired by the islands and Americas south of this geographical border (south of the Tropic of Cancer).
Located on the corner of Oberlin and Clark, so•ca cocina latina brings the flavors of this region to Cameron Village, and is open for dinner seven nights a week during dinner service and and for brunch on the weekends.
so•ca has a dedicated vegan menu which makes for an easy and relaxed dining experience. There is a good selection of dishes to choose from and many options from this (vegan) menu are available for brunch as well. so•ca's small plates are designed for sharing so this is a great choice if dining out as a couple or in a big group.
