SushiSamba is a restaurant offering a unique of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, music and design. It encapsulates the spirit of these three distinct cultures; a tri-cultural coalition that took root in early 20th century Lima and São Paulo. They serve traditional dishes and more inventive fare, and they have separate gluten-free and vegan menus.
The vegan dishes include Japanese mushrooms and hijiki seaweed salad, eggplant anticuchos, mustard miso and peruvian corn, and tofu teriyaki. There is also a wide range of vegan sushi including a sambo roll containing collard greens, mushroom, takuwan, cucumber and wasabi-onion soy. Desserts include the Arroz Con Coco Leche, which incorporates coconut rice pudding, limed-pineapple, candied orange zest, coconut tuile and coconut-passion fruit sorbet.
