Apteka

Apteka is an all-vegan bar and restaurant specialising in Eastern and Central European cuisine and is located between the Bloomfield and Lawrenceville districts. It offers both light bites and sandwiches, for example Mushroom & smoked chili soup or veg pate with smoked apple and chilis sandwich. There are also more substantial dishes available for mains such as the pierogi (a sauerkraut and mushroom dish), and all of these can be followed by a vegan dessert and - for those who are inclined - one of the many cocktails on offer. Set up in a cafe style, orders are placed at the bar and brought to your table, with reservations being possible for groups of 6 or more. There is even a backyard garden for use by diners, weather permitting, of course!
