King David's Restaurant serves Middle Eastern and Greek cuisine from two locations in Syracuse. This is the original restaurant and was established in 1974, right in the heart of the Syracuse University Hill. King David's offers "the quiet elegance of a delicious Middle Eastern meal amongst the bustle of an exciting college town".
Their menu includes falafel, hommous, tabbouleh, babaganouge, grape leaves, salads and pitzas - making it a great choice for vegans. Choose a selection of Mazza (small plates) and share a bit of everything with your table, or opt for something a little more substantial. The Vegetarian Plate, Falafel and Eggplant Pita Pocket sandwiches, and the Falafel, Grilled Veggie and Vegetarian Bowls all look to be vegan-friendly. Just double check with your server when you order. Many of the salads are also accidentally vegan. Middle Eastern and Greek cuisine is great for large group gatherings, as there's lots of choice for everyone and sharing is encouraged.
