Aladdin’s Eatery is a great place to sample Lebanese-American and Middle Eastern dishes. It is a chain with restaurants throughout the US including six locations in Pittsburgh, with this one being in Fox Chapel.
The menu is clearly laid out, showing gluten-free and nut-containing items and with up to thirty vegan options, from the hummus plate appetizer, to the baba falafel rolled pita and the mujadara lentil special. There are also vegan desserts (for example peanut butter jam or vegan blueberry cookies), raw juices and natural herbal teas on offer to round your meal out. The food is natural and fresh and doesn’t contain any sulfites or preservatives.
It is a traditional sit-down restaurant which doesn’t take reservations, but does offer carry-out.
