Mad Mex, North Hills

One of several Mad Mex locations throughout the greater Pittsburgh area, this one in North Hills is across from McIntyre Square. A bar and Tex-Mex restaurant enjoying a reputation for enjoyment and “Big Azz Margaritas”, there’s a happy party vibe to the place. With vegan offerings throughout the menu including the option of vegan tacos, burritos, fajitas and more, there are also those little added extras like Daiya vegan cheese style shreds, Tofutti sour cream and vegan chipotle ranch dressing. In fact, many of the items on the Mad Mex menu can be made vegan and/or gluten-free. Mad Mex has also been awarded the Gold Designation by the Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant Initiative, doing its bit for fairness and the future.
